I think the middle two images work together really well. However the shot of Brian looks like the color balance might be a bit off. I think the first and last images work together to a smaller degree, though if one of the subjects was facing the opposite direction it might be stronger. Not really feeling the guy having his head cut off in the first image. Harry's image keeps making me laugh, the expression, gesture, and color work together extremely well and I think that may be the strongest image of these four, though I don't think the bottom fingers should be cut off like that. Overall, I think it's a pretty strong concept, though the top image just seems much weaker in comparison to the other three because the color doesn't fit the subject's expression as well.
My first time to India was life-changing. I expected to be away from The States for seven months and was gone for two years flying around the globe and returning to India two more times. A little girl, Komla was what grabbed my heart for India. I spent three weeks in the slums of Mumbai teaching her English. In return she showed me her life and introduced me to a new passion.
I believe photography is more than just film or captured moments. It brings light and colour to an untold story. These people changed my life and I hope I can bring light into theirs.
My goal is to give back to the people of extreme poverty. I want my photographs to mean more than just a picture, I want it to be an opportunity to relieve poverty.
