Stephanie, Okay I'll leave this here since I didn't see a wrapup statement. Overall you did a good job posting. I particularly like how you give your date and location underneath each post. This adds to the image by giving us a reference.
Seeing how the blog is best suited to work in progress, it should also be a place where you expound upon photographers you find interesting or noteworthy news regarding photography you find pertinent. That is my suggestion moving forward. Think of it as your thought pad and digital journal.
Good luck next quarter and moving forward from there. And let me know the result of the Nat. Geographic Residency.
My first time to India was life-changing. I expected to be away from The States for seven months and was gone for two years flying around the globe and returning to India two more times. A little girl, Komla was what grabbed my heart for India. I spent three weeks in the slums of Mumbai teaching her English. In return she showed me her life and introduced me to a new passion.
I believe photography is more than just film or captured moments. It brings light and colour to an untold story. These people changed my life and I hope I can bring light into theirs.
My goal is to give back to the people of extreme poverty. I want my photographs to mean more than just a picture, I want it to be an opportunity to relieve poverty.
