Dear Steph, You've got a gift. To write with light? You certainly do with your photos. I am so proud of you! And even (I'm a bad friend) a smidgen jealous because you have a passion and you are talented and willing to do what it takes. Hope I hear from you
This image is something I would see in National Geographic magazine. It certainly does tell a story! Traveling to different countries must have been an amazing experience for you.
My first time to India was life-changing. I expected to be away from The States for seven months and was gone for two years flying around the globe and returning to India two more times. A little girl, Komla was what grabbed my heart for India. I spent three weeks in the slums of Mumbai teaching her English. In return she showed me her life and introduced me to a new passion.
I believe photography is more than just film or captured moments. It brings light and colour to an untold story. These people changed my life and I hope I can bring light into theirs.
My goal is to give back to the people of extreme poverty. I want my photographs to mean more than just a picture, I want it to be an opportunity to relieve poverty.
