Ma fille française préférée.We worked together at a Boy Scout Camp in California as rock wall instructors. Every week we begin the program with Manu rushing down the zip line. This shot was taking during set up when she was resting.
My first time to India was life-changing. I expected to be away from The States for seven months and was gone for two years flying around the globe and returning to India two more times. A little girl, Komla was what grabbed my heart for India. I spent three weeks in the slums of Mumbai teaching her English. In return she showed me her life and introduced me to a new passion.
I believe photography is more than just film or captured moments. It brings light and colour to an untold story. These people changed my life and I hope I can bring light into theirs.
My goal is to give back to the people of extreme poverty. I want my photographs to mean more than just a picture, I want it to be an opportunity to relieve poverty.
